It is leaking some oil, but it still has great power. As long as you find something that someone took care of, BMW engines are good to go. I dont know about the v8 (540) Inline setup, german precision, same base design that goes back two decades, timing chain. It is a bit underpowered compared to the V8 or the lexus.
